Day 6 - Niagara Falls!

Where do I begin?! Today was long and hot but so amazing!
I started the day with a coffee and visit with Barbara...she's such a sweet lady and very enjoyable to visit with!
Then I took off for the falls! Now I must forewarn you...I'm gonna overload you with pictures!

I started off with a 4D show "The Fury Behind the Falls" and then headed down to the river walk. It is a 1/4 mile trail that runs along the Rapids! They are class 6 Rapids and even the most experienced and professional rafters won't touch them as they're considered some of the most dangerous Rapids in the world!😯

After a lunch break I headed down to the Hornblower Cruise! This was definitely the highlight of my day! You literally are as close to the falls as you can possibly get and its an amazing feeling!
You also get extremely soaked tho!

Oh and in case you were wondering, there's no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!! I literally stood on top of the end of this one and didn't see a single snick of gold!
Next I headed to the walk behind the falls! It was amazing to feel and hear the power of the falls and to be standing behind them!

I then proceeded to check out all the souvenir shops and attractions on Cliffton Hill and of course make a stop at Starbucks!!

Then I headed back just in time to catch the fireworks show!

I finally made it back after a very long day and spent the remainder of my evening relaxing with Barabara and watching the news!😊 I'm officially ready to collapse! Night all!

Day 5 - Toronto & Niagara Falls

Ahhh! What an amazing and fun day! I am so stinkin blessed!😊 started it off right with my first Timmies coffee of the trip!
It was a gorgeous, HOT, +30 day here in Toronto!
I headed down to Kensington Market which is about 4-5 blocks of random shops, restaurants & pubs! It's the cutest, coolest area and I loved wandering around down there! And to boot, when I went to purchase my parking pass, a guy ran up and offered me his! He'd purchased a day pass but was leaving so he gave it to me! 😊 Then I got to pay it forward when I left!

The humorous thing down here is that there are multiple stores that we would call 2nd hand stores! But here they call them vintage stores and charge $32 for a pair of used jeans with paint on them! 😂Lol! Gotta love vintage!
When I finally got hungry there were so many fun restaurants and foods to choose from! But I finally settled on Curried Goat Roti! It was delicious! I haven't had true Roti since Fiji so it was a treat to have it again!

My parents have taught me well that sometimes the hole-in-the-wall, don't-look-like-much places often have the best food! And so far it has proved true every time!
Later on I headed down to Casa Loma...Casa Loma is a Gothic Revival style house and gardens in midtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that is now a
Unfortunately it closed early and I wasn't able to take a tour, but I got to take in the stunning architecture anyway! Absolutely beautiful!

Afterwards I headed back downtown for an up close and personal view of the CN Tower!

There was a Toronto Blue Jays game going to take place at the Rogers Stadium right next door and I was severely tempted to go catch it, but I pushed my way thru the sea of Blue shirts and continued on my way!

I then made my way to Niagara Falls where I arrived just in time to catch the nightly fireworks show over the falls! So incredibly awesome!

And I got to take my family with me and show them the fireworks via FaceTime! So fun!

My final blessing of the night was Brian Jane's mother (who lives here in Niagara Falls) offered to let me come stay in her guest room while I'm here! So sweet of her as we didn't know each other at all! So I have a real bed all to myself tonight!
Well this happy, blessed, sunburnt girl is all ready to get some sleep! Super pumped about my day tomorrow!

Day 4 - Toronto!!!

Today was a very long and busy day! I woke up at 8am after a fabulous sleep and charged to the showers because I had every intention of making to a 9:30am service in the centre of Toronto! Well long story short, I got to the address and couldn't see anything for the church I was looking for and the parking lot was empty! However there was signage out for a Metropalitin Bible Baptist Church - Pastor Gamy Romano. Their Sunday school started at 10am so I hung around! Turns out BOTH churches rent the same building! The one I was looking for rents downstairs and the one I ended up going to rents upstairs! It was a completely Filipino church and I was the only white person there! But it was also the friendliest church I have ever seen! I felt right at home and very welcome! It was also the longest service I've been too! Between S.S. And the main service, I didn't get out till 2pm!

Oh and to boot, when I did get out I realized I'd looked my keys in the ignition! Lol! Thank goodness for a spare!
Then it was down to the Harbourfront Centre for the rest of the day! Because of horrid traffic it literally took me an hour to get down there and when I did get there I spent another hour slowly making my way in circles looking for a parking garage that wasn't already full!😯 However in the long run I found a underground garage that I later realized belonged to a group of condos and I parked for free! Pretty awesome considering I was supposed to pay $35 everywhere else! So I face timed my parents and took them with me on a tour of all the sights!😊

This fire rescue boat was putting on a water works show!

By this time I was starving since I hadn't had time to eat all day! Josiah constantly raves about Shawarma and since you can find it on practically every street corner here, I decided it was time to try it! Soooo good!!!

Today was definitely a "foodie day"! As I wandered thru I came upon a dozen food tents, each with their own unique food offerings! Ugh! So many cool looking things! But I had to limit myself so I just tried the fresh Churros!! Again...amazing!

Then I continued on my way, enjoying all the sights, sounds and diverse cultures all around me! Truly an amazing afternoon!

I'm now back at my "home" for the night, tired out but happy!😊

Oh ya, here's a pic of the pet skunk who's camping out in this parking lot with me!😂
