Left home at 1:30pm this afternoon! Very late start to my trip but better late then never! Rainy roads for the first half and then cleared up and I enjoyed a beautiful ride through the Canadian Shield!
Saw at least 4 moose which made me very grateful for my deer whistles!😬 I was gonna stop and take a picture but I was scared they might come over and help roll me on my way so I just kept moving! Lol!
Oh and crazy piece of information! I filled up with gas in Portage for $39 and that tank got me all the way to Thunder Bay! Now grated the needle was below empty and the little gas tank symbol was flashing like mad but I made it! 779.1km on a $39 tank of gas! Now I'm not sure I'll make it to the gas station in the morning...but who cares! I have a big beautiful bed to sleep in right now, thanks to the Fournier's, so off to Lala land I go!😊
This is the before picture of my back seat! My Dad did an amazing job of building a bed for me back there and that's where I'll be spending my nights when I'm not staying with friends! Nothing like "backseating" it across the country! Loving how organized it all is right now, but pretty sure that won't last long!😏
