Day 12 - Montreal & Quebec City

   Well today was another eventful day! Woke up to clouds but no rain! After leisurely getting ready and planning out my day I took off for Mont-Royal! It's a mountain smack-dab in the middle of Montreal that has highly acclaimed views of the city. So I parked my car, rented a Bixi bike and took off for what was to be my workout for the day! 

Stairs, stairs, and more stairs!! 400 of them to be exact! Even though it was cloudy and breezy I was sweating by the time I reached the top! However, looking around me it seemed that everyone was in the same shape! Lol!

   This beautiful little trickling stream followed the stairs down the mountain!

Aaaah! But once you reach the top the view is worth it all! So gorgeous!

I then trucked my way back down the mountain and took off on a sightseeing adventure of the cutest neighbourhood!!

 

Sorry for the overload....but I can't help myself! They're sooo cute!

 

   By this time the sun had come out and I was melting! Starbucks to the rescue!

   Time to say good-bye to Montreal and head on to Quebec City! It just hit me today as I was driving...I've been gone almost 2 weeks and here I am driving even further away!😳

   Crossed this cool bridge on my way out of the city...

   I'm now safe and sound in Quebec City and looking forward to more exploring tomorrow!
