Day 17 - Traveling

   So today was a fairly uneventful day. I slept in and then headed into Charlottetown for some last minute gift shopping. It was a hot sunny day when I got up, but by the time I headed off the Island the clouds were rolling in and it had cooled off! 

  Apparently you can't leave PEI without trying their famous "Cows Icecream"! So I stopped for some before heading into the longest bridge I ever been on!

The Confederation bridge is 13km long and it's the strangest thing driving over water for that long!

 

I headed into Noca Scotia...

 And was planning to head up to Cape Breton Island. But after checking the weather and a few other factors I changed my mind and headed to Halifax instead! So I'm tucked into a hotel and will be here a day or two.
