Well this is gonna be short and sweet! Partially because there's not a lot to tell you and partially because it's late and I'm exhausted!!
I left Niagara Falls this morning after a lovely 2 days with Barabara...
And made my way back to Toronto to go to the St. Lawrance Market! Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for Markets and I think I have every one mapped out along my journey!
I had lunch at this awesome little Crepe place in the basement! Fully loaded with veggies and so yummy!
After purchasing my needed groceries, including a heaping basket of giant strawberries😍 I continued on my way to Ottawa! Somehow, between all the roadwork (literally sat in gridlock traffic for close to an hour!) Starbucks breaks, and watching this guy pull up beside me and sing his heart out to the tunes in his headphones, I managed to turn what should have been a 4hr. Drive into a 7hr. Drive!
My problem when I arrived was I could not find a gas station with showers for the life of me! I searched everywhere I could think of on the Internet and was hoping I might even see one, but no such luck! Finally I resorted to trying the Hostels...but by this time it was 11pm and everyone was full! Finally one guy suggested I try the Ottawa University as they rent out their dorm rooms in the summer! Sure enough! I'm back in school!
Of course once I got all settled in I managed to locate a fully loaded truck stop! 😒 oh well, it was not to be!
