After catching a few more hours of sleep I headed to the Visitors Centre to gather some maps, info and plan out my day! It was rainy and miserable when I headed out, but thankfully that cleared up and it became a beautiful day!
First stop was Montmorency Falls, just on the edge of Quebec City! Absolutely Beautiful and powerful!

Then I took off for Old Town Quebec! If I thought Montreal was beautiful...Quebec City has it beat by a mile! Such beautiful old streets and lovely architecture!

This Old Town Quebec is still surrounded by its walls and they are so beautiful!

Next was a walk along the Dufferine Terrace that overlooks the St. Lawrence River...

And then up the Governor's walkway!

On my wanderings I came across numerous street musicians...but this one caught my eye!

I had never seen something like this before in my life and the sound was so beautiful and peaceful! I loved it so much I bought a CD and it's been playing in my car ever since! Thanks Philippe Gagné! If your on Facebook check out his page: philippegagnemusic.
Realizing how late it was getting I took off for the Place du Marché-du-Vieux-Port! (market) and not a moment too soon! As soon as I parked the rain started pouring down! But by the time I was ready to leave it had cleared back up! But while I was there I decided it simply wouldn't be right to leave Quebec without trying a French Macaroon! Talk about a little piece of heaven in your mouth! If you've never tried them, you must!

I spent the rest of the evening wandering and exploring the shops...until I came across these two sweeties!

I finally closed my night with one last trip around to catch the night sights!

A beautiful end to a beautiful day!
Beautiful pictures Bethany. I've never been to Quebec city but it looks very inviting. God grant you a good nights rest and some more wonderful sites tomorrow.
