Day 15 - Prince Edward Island

So I had mentally planned last night to be on the road by 9am...good thing it wasn't set in stone because when I woke up and looked at my clock it was 8:57am!  Guess 2 time changes will do that to you!
Anyway, I had a leisurely breakfast with the Seely's and by the time I headed out the door it was noon! I so enjoyed my time with them and am looking forward to the next time our paths cross!

I also fell in love with their dog Bear! His whole one ear up, one ear down totally melted me heart! Lol!

Off to PEI I headed! Although Confederation bridge would have been a lot faster, it was a gloomy, rainy day so i decided to take the ferry across instead and go home on the bridge when it will hopefully be clear enough to enjoy the view!
Last time I was on a ferry I was too young to remember so pardon all my ferry pictures but I thought the whole thing was kinda cool!
Driving into the belly of the ferry...

PEI is beautiful! It was so much fun just driving along and seeing all the quant little houses, shops, lighthouses, beaches and unique beauty!
I stopped in Charlottetown for a walk by the water, shopping and a stop at the Chips, home made fries, food truck!

This tunnel was covered in those little snails!

When I was taking this next photo, this guy walked by and said "why are you taking a picture of that?!" I just laughed, he obviously had no idea how beautiful his surroundings were!

I continued my drive and it was so fun just enjoying all the scenery!

I arrived in Summerside and am staying in the Reed's (Danielle's parents) Bed & Breakfast! It's so beautiful! If you ever get a chance to go to PEI you must stay here!
